Weekend in Clemson | The Inn at Patrick Square

As many of you know, I graduated from Clemson University in 2012 and WOW that seems like forever ago!! Some of my best memories are from college – Clemson will always be a special place to me. I haven’t had the chance to visit over the last couple years, but I finally was able to squeeze in a quick 24 hour trip and it was the absolute best time!! The pictures above are from walking through campus. It’s so beautiful!!

We stayed at The Inn at Patrick Square, a boutique hotel that opened recently off the Issaqueena exit (where I lived my junior & senior year!) which is SUPER convenient to campus! I was so impressed from the moment that I walked in – modern decor, white marble everywhere, and Clemson history throughout the hotel. One of my favorite parts was the wall featuring the history of Clemson from the 1800’s through today. The first picture below is of the lobby, and the second picture is from the room.

The room continued the theme of the hotel – modern, clean, and very spacious! There are only 45  rooms total, and they make sure that each and every one is the best condition, down to ironing the pillowcases on the bed! Something we thought was really cool is that they have bags of ice offered on each floor, so no one has to deal with messy ice machines.

One of my favorite parts about the Inn is the Stumphouse Cafe located right off the lobby. It was so convenient to grab coffee and breakfast downstairs in the morning! I ordered an almond milk cappuccino and the yogurt parfait which were both delicious! For all you coffee lovers – the cafe uses Methodical coffee, which is local to Greenville and so so good!! The cafe has plenty of tables and cozy seating inside, as well as an outdoor table area. This would have been a perfect spot to post up and study back in college, especially since I lived off campus for two years.

If you’re ever in the Clemson area, I couldn’t recommend The Inn at Patrick Square more!! They go above and beyond to make sure each guest has a good experience; we felt so at home and taken care of! Huge thank you to the entire team for hosting us 🙂

    Hello ,

I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!

I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. 🙂
I have even created an Instagram account for them ( https://www.instagram.com/tayo_home/ ) and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).

I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂

Keep up the good work on your blog.

    Regards

Hi Wiki! I love finding other animal lovers. My two dogs totally act like brothers – they’re best friends but they drive each other crazy half the time! I have an Instagram account for them too 🙂 Thank you so much for the comment and support!
