Tula Rose Glow Eye Balm vs. Original

January 28, 2020

Tula Eye Balm Differences

About a year ago, Tula launched a product called the Glow & Get It Eye Balm, and to say it was a hit would be a HUGE understatement. This product sold out within days of launching and quickly became one of the most popular products from their entire line of skin care products.

What’s so great about it?

Like all Tula products, the eye balm is made from probiotic and superfood ingredients that are so good for your skin! With caffeine (to firm and tighten,) aloe + watermelon (to hydrate,) blueberries (rich in antioxidants) and more – this balm instantly provides a cooling, tightening and brightening effect.

This product was SO popular that they decided to launch a second version of it a few months ago: the Rose Glow Eye Balm!

What’s the difference?

The new Rose Glow eye balm contains all of the same ingredients as the original formula with the addition of rosehip oil (a plant based retinol alternative) and hydrating rose water to leave you feeling energized, hydrated and oh so glowy!

Like all of Tula’s products, the eye balm is 100% free from alcohol, parabens, phalates, mineral oil silicone, sodium laurel sulfate.  All products are cruelty free.

How to use it?

The eye balms can be used both under makeup and on top! I usually apply it after moisturizer and before foundation/concealer – just a swipe or two under the eyes and then pat it in with my finger. I will also re-apply it on top of my makeup throughout the day if I am looking tired and need a pick me up. It has a cooling sensation that feels so good on the skin, and I love that it works instantly to brighten my under eyes. You can also use it as a highlighter on the cheekbones, nose, cupids bow, etc. It’s like a product and makeup in one, which I love! I’ll share a quick summary of my full morning skincare routine below:
