Simple way to wear an oversized blazer

November 5, 2018

Monday, we meet again..!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I was super busy with blog work (a good problem to have!!) For those of you who are new around here, I work full time Monday-Friday so a majority of my blog work gets done on the weekend or before/after my first job (or during lunch breaks haha – basically every minute I’m not at the office.) I’ve seen a few comments recently regarding full-time bloggers and how they don’t “have a real job” which – I don’t know everyone’s situation, but running this blog is very much a second FULL TIME job for me! A lot of bloggers will say that it’s part of their job to “make it look easy” which I 100% get – I mean, would anyone really want to see pictures of us sitting at a computer answering emails all day? There’s a LOT that goes on behind the scenes.. just saying! 😉

Anyways – not quite sure where that mini rant came from (maybe this outfit is making me think about work haha) BUT this oversized blazer is by far one of my favorite purchases this fall so I wanted to share a super easy way to style it for the cooler months. I paired it with denim shorts and heels at NYFW which you can see in this blog post,  but I am also LOVING it over an all black outfit. Blazers are not just for the office anymore!

Sizing Details: The blazer fits TTS (I’m wearing XS) and I’m wearing XS in my tee as well. I’m wearing my normal size 24 in the black jeans but I’d recommend sizing up 1 size – these are extremely tight on me (especially at the ankle – it takes me a couple minutes to get them on.) My over the knee boots are the best EVER – size up 1/2 size (I wear 8.5 in shoes and ordered a size 40)

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all have a wonderful week 🙂
