Punta Cana Recap | Member’s Fest

October 26, 2021

If you follow along over on Instagram, I’m sure you’ve seen our latest trips to Punta Cana – we visited in August and then had the opportunity to return in October for Circle by Melia’s first annual Member’s Fest. It was a last minute trip, but I’m so glad we were able to make it! Member’s Fest is a week full of special events, activities, dinners, and parties for Circle Members, and it was SO much fun! I’ve shared a lot over on IG but wanted to put together a recap here on the blog as well.

We stayed at the Paradisus Grand Cana, which is where most of the events took place. I wrote a full resort review after our last visit if you’re interested in details on the resort – this was our third time staying there, so we clearly love it!!

Daytime Activities

There were several activities to choose from each day, but some of my favorites were paddle boarding in the pool, pool party with live music & coconut drinks, and golf day – I didn’t play, but they were nice enough to let me tag along! It was the first time I got to watch my husband play in a tournament 🙂 We also had plenty of time to relax by the beach!

Photo Shoot

You can schedule schedule a photo shoot through the resort at any time, and this was our first time doing one! It was so much fun – especially for me, since my husband is usually the one behind the camera 🙂 We will definitely be framing these!

Our photographer was amazing to work with, I’ll link his Instagram page @solanosphoto – if you’re ever in Punta Cana and looking for a photographer, reach out to him!

Evening Activities

Each night there was some type of expo, dinner, dancing and entertainment for Circle Members, and they went ALL OUT! I was blown away by the food, decor, music, and extravagance of everything. There were Dominican culture expos featuring local artists, as well as a car expo which was really cool! My favorite was probably the Bohemian Night themed dinner, and our final night was the Olympus themed gala.

Overall we had an amazing time, and are already looking forward to the next Member’s Fest! If you want more info on the membership program, you can check out their website here. We joined a couple years ago and have had a great experience – so far we have stayed at Melia hotels in Punta Cana, Los Cabos, Paris, Granada and Madrid. Where is your favorite place to travel? Let me know in the comments below – I’ve definitely got the travel bug, and already thinking about our next trip!
