Amazon Activewear Review

January 27, 2020

It’s no secret that Amazon has stepped up their clothing game over the last few years – pretty much all of the blog’s top sellers of 2019 were Amazon finds. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to try their activewear, but I finally ordered some pieces! New workout clothes always motivate me to get into the gym, and even better when they come with an affordable price tag. I’ve been testing these out over the last couple weeks and overall I am impressed. Keep on reading below for all the details!

Crop top ($20):  I love this crop top so much I am ordering another one in black! The material is thicker than a t-shirt but not as thick as a sweatshirt – great quality and comfortable to wear for a workout or just lounging.  I would recommend sizing up if you have a larger chest or a long torso, otherwise it will be a very short crop (I am 5’7 and wearing a small here for reference.)

Cutout leggings ($17): These leggings are so cute and very comfortable – the material is buttery soft!! I would not wear them for an intense workout, but they are great for anything like yoga/pilates, walking, or just lounging. They fit true to size (I am wearing XS) and are high waisted, which I love!

Racerback tank ($11): This is a great basic workout tank, and great quality for $11!! The material is soft and breathable – my only complaint is that it comes out of the dryer very wrinkly and I have to steam it in order to get the wrinkles out. Fits true to size, but I usually size up in tanks for a looser fit – just my personal preference! I am wearing a small here.

Sports bra ($17): I ordered this sports bra mostly because the back is cute and strappy, and I’m really impressed! I tried to get a picture of the back, but it’s kind of an awkward angle – sorry! I’ve worn it for several different workouts: cardio, HIIT, weight training, etc and it has great support. It does come with pads, but they are removable if you don’t want them. Fits true to size, I am wearing a small.

90 Degree by Reflex leggings ($28): These leggings have over 6,000 good reviews, and many people compare them to the Lululemon Align leggings, which are $138!! I’ve never worn Lululemon so I can’t speak to that, but these leggings are amazing!! They’re soft and stretchy, high waisted, and definitely squat proof. There is a hidden pocket in the waistband, big enough to hold keys or an ID which is convenient. They come in several beautiful colors and I’ll definitely be ordering another pair. Fit true to size, I am wearing XS.
